Cody Gehlert(KE0FOT) Our 2nd annual Family Fun Day that’s coming up is next Saturday, October 1st. It’s a luau theme. We’re having a roast pig, sides that we’re requesting attendees bring, games, music and a special hula dancer. We are also having door prizes. Some for anyone (gift certificates) but some super great ones for the hams in attendance: a POTA backpack, 2 TYT handheld radios and grandprize of a Kenwood TM-V71A dual band mobile radio. ( Must be present to win.) We really hope to have good attendance and a great time.
This is definitely a family event and anyone you want to bring is invited. We will be at Meramac State Park at shelter 3. We plan to eat at noon. I believe a lot of people are planning to come around 10 or 11. We hope to see you there!
Here is a list of food provided. If you wanna add please let me know! We currently have cowboy beans, deviled eggs, fruit salad, pineapple upside-down cake, green beans, potato salad, chips, cherry pie, pumpkin bread and ice cream. Thanks too all who are contributing! Water and Tea(Sweet and unsweetened) will be provided as well.
