Cody Gehlert(KE0FOT) Dear fellow hams Ruth Bartholomew NOKDB passed away this morning at 10:33am and is reunited with her loving husband Art N0KDA in heaven. Ruth had quite a ham radio life from being very involved with 10-10 international, and with other great radio organizations such as the Sullivan amateur radio club.
Ruth was one of the finest wood workers I’ve ever known, was a registered nurse for many years and a personal friend to not only myself, but to many many others along her great Road she “will” Be missed! As you fly along in your new life dear Ruth remember us on occasion and each time we sign off with 73, May it also remind us of the great Elmers such as Ruth, who kept our hobby alive for so many years! Please pray for Julie and her family as they go through this difficult time, and that God will grant real peace! So 73 to N0KDB, bud not QRT! 💐💐 The family has ask that any memorials would to go to the Alzheimer’s foundation. Julie will provide a time in the future for a memorial for her.
